Talk to surgeon : Activity to avoid depends on what was done. The surgeon can also decide exactly when you need to go start physical therapy . They also can decide if you need antibiotics and if so what you need.

Hand surgery: Many hand surgeries go not require antibiotics during the postoperative period. Restrictions can be critical to a good outcome. I would contact your treating physician to make sure your limitations are clear.

Maybe not needed: Antibiotics are not necessary needed after hand surgery. It would really depend on the type of surgery you had. The types of activity to avoid is largely dependent on the nature of the surgery as well. Sorry can't be more specific, but the limitations are quite variable.
