Im 34 yrs female,the veins on my left temple are visible for as i remember.i used to get that sudden drilling pain in my left side of my head &it lasts for few minutes ever since i was a kid &it suddenly stopped.now it returned with same severit?

Veins on the side of the temple are common and tend to become more prominent when the body is hot. They will also become more prominent when straining, yelling or other maneuvers that increase intra-abdominal pressure. They would not be associated with pain on the side of the head.

The vein prominence does not at all relate to your left sided episodes of pain, which could be a variant of migraine or a variation of trigeminal neuralgia (more likely atypical facial pain), or even referred jaw pain. Have your physician evaluate this situation and intervene as appropriate.
