Hello, i am 6 months pregnant and have been hand feeding my sick cat a tuna based cat food several times a day. i was wondering if there is a chance that i could get possible mercury exposure (from the tuna) via means of absorption through the skin?

The risk of mercury getting into your system is remote. It is the sickness of the cat that may be a cause frc concern. You should address it with your OB and the Cat's vet. Wish you good health and a healthy baby!
