A member asked:

I have reactive hypoglycemia, can that issue be the cause of my miscarriage at 9 weeks? i'm 39 and have also celiac and tsh 3.93?

I would not assume this was the cause & often none is ever found. If the debris from the MC is studied as many as 1/3 that are lost at that point have genetic imbalances that were incompatible with survival. Even with thorough study an explanation may be elusive.

It is likely that you had spontaneous loss of an early pregnancy, which is not uncommon. About 25% of early pregnancies are lost, mostly due to chromosomal defects in the embryo. Wish you good health!
