I was just told i have osteoarthritis. i have sjogrens. can it cause osteoarthritis?

Sjogrens Diseae can cause many symptoms, including joint pain. If you have sjogrens and joint pain, you have Sjogrens, not osteoarthritis

The body's immune system attacks its own tissues, most prominently the salivary glands (causing dry mouth, occasionally swollen glands) and the lacrimal glands (causing dry eyes). Sjögren's can affect other body systems. OA is confined to the joints.
