Does 100 mg of gabapentin needs to be tapered down slowly, if its been taken for 2-3 months?

If you're only taken 100 mgs of gabapentin a day, it would be considered a very small dose. If your prescribing physician, who knows your condition, feels you can discontinue it, do so with his/her help with a somewhat slow taper such as one every other day for a week, one every 3 days for a week and so on.
