I have a pain on the left side of my head that changes in severity that radiates to my eye and neck. i have been under a lot of anxiety after being dxed with cancer. i just want it to go away - any suggestions?

I would consider these pains as a neuralgia, but if you can trace it emanating from the base of the neck,radiating up the back of the ear up the scalp to over the eye, it nay be a pinched occipital nerve. Treatment would be applying heat or heat alternating with cold,taking anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen or naproxen& physical therapy or massage. See your MD &inform him/her of your anxiety
