Mesenteric adenopathy can take a month to resolve, so you have to be patient. Sometimes heat on the abdomen helps. sometimes gentle massage or just gently rubbing his tummy will provide relief. Keep diet somewhat bland, stay away from fried foods, foods with high fat content. Have him drink lots of water. Be patient. It can take a month for all symptoms to subside.
