Symptoms of sciatica is entirely different from blood clot. Blood clot does not cause pain, the affected leg could be mildly swollen with heavy feeling and sometimes it is completely asymptomatic. Sciatica is radiculopathic pain originating from lower back, radiating to the buttock then posterior aspect of the leg to the heel. Sciatica is usually aggravated with bending the lower back.
