A member asked:

When i was a child they said i have a developmental disability will it still affect me as a adult?

It depends on what it was more specifically and is also up to you. For instance, if you have a reading disability, with lots of hard work and lots of practice reading, you can actually overcome some of the reading developmental disorders such as dyslexia. But it just doesn't happen by magic - it takes hard work and commitment to practice. Some are harder to overcome than others - hang in there!
