I have a slight discomfort 45 degree to the right and down (at the length of the middle finger) from my bellybutton. it isnt painful but its just feels something is up. if is forgettable but i just wondering if it is a sign of some bigger problem?

The location you mentioned is the right lower quadrant and appendix is in that location. If pain develops along with nausea and vomit, appendicitis has to be ruled out. However, under that location are both small and large bowels and these structures can cause that symptom with common problems such as gas, constipation, mild enterocolitis, etc. I recommend light diet and observation for now.
