Cymbalta is unlikely to be very effective in dealing with RLS. More effective agents include dopamine agonists, gabapentin, Lyrica, and on occasion L-DOPA. Antidepressants are used by some neurologists for a host of off-label indications, often due to lower costs associated with generic status. Be assertive with your doctor and get full explanation for treatment choices.
