A member asked:

If i already have thrombocytopenia, should i avoid the johnson and johnson vaccine and choose a different one? is this a question for my hematologist?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thrombocytopenia is not a contraindication for a COVID-19 vaccination, and see no reason why J&J would be anymore of a problem vrs. Pfizer or Moderna. Anyone of the three could be safely and effectively employed and would recommend such.
