I have a rash on my forehead. it may be due to harsh irritants . i cleaned the area with soap , peroxide , and put neosporin on it.. i think the neosporin agravated it. would it be ok to put benedryl on it .. ? it's not discolored just very painful?

A painful rash (especially on one side of face only) could possibly be shingles- may need Dr exam- or a bacterial infection. Some people do have a sensitivity to Neosporin though (I would expect irritation/itching not pain tho). Benadryl or 1% hydrocortisone might help & likely wouldn’t hurt, but see Dr if pain persists or other symptoms (fever, pus, numbness) develop
