A member asked:

I think i have ulnar nerve palsy which i believe has started muscle wasting in my hand. i am making an appointment to get this checked out. is this damage reversible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The diagnosis of ulnar nerve damage can be confirmed by an EMG/ NCS. If you have a mechanical compression at elbow or wrist, a decompression should satisfactorily reverse. If you have diabetes, this too can be handled, but treatment will be different.
