Sun spots or solar lentigines come out after periods of exposure to sun. If you did not treat previous spots then you would have those spots and the new ones. In addition to sunscreen 50 or 70 for all UV rays , please use hat. Avoid being in the sun. you can use creams containing hydroquinone and retinoic acid without mercury daily. Doctor can do laser resurfacing, chemical peels. Hope it helps.
