Yes: Yes, they can cause a myriad of symptoms. Check with your pcp (md) do eliminate any cardiac problems however.

Absolutely!: These are called "somatoform" symptoms. The chest pain is particularly disturbing because people think they're having a heart attack and end up in the emergency room getting extensive and expensive tests. They often recur. This needs the attention of a doctor to treat and "be there" when an attack occurs to avoid unnecessary er visits.
