Which is better for detecting chronic appendicitis or possible appendix/ abdominal occult hernia issues - ct, ct w/contrast, mri, ultrasound? i have chronic r-side abdominal pain, and prior tests have all come back as normal appendix -reg. cts/mri?

I need more information such as lab work, where on right side the pain is, characteristics of the pain and the pattern, whether pain radiates anywhere. Ct scan with contrast might be better than regular ct scan. In general it doesn’t sound like appendicitis so further workup is necessary to narrow down the cause of your pain.
