Past few years ive had a sharp (snap like) feeling on the right side of my neck (feels like a sudden rubber band snap) used to happen maybe once/month. past 6 months its been at least 5-10x monthly. when this happens, my whole body jolts. zero pain?

If no discomfort accompanies these sensations and especially if they occur when your head and neck move in one direction, the cause is usually tendons & ligaments moving over bone structures. Even though these snaps are scary, they are harmless. Since they are more frequent, Just to be sure I recommend that you have a physician or orthopedic specialist examine your neck & advise you.
