A member asked:

Does abdominal wall pain feel colicky with sharp intermittent pulses of pain only around the belly, or can it extend to the groin? my stomach has had a pricking at it, and my groin is sore with burning under the belt for a week and no other symptom?

Abdominal wall pain usually refers to muscular pain. As the muscles do go down to the groin area, that is possible. It could also be food related, as internally your stomach is at the top/middle and intestines go down to near the groin. However, it would be good to rule out other causes, such as a hernia. I would recommend that if it continues or gets worse, that you see your doctor.
