A member asked:

Is there any infection that more commonly causes both a huge reactive type arthritis and then inflammation of caudal nerve roots / clumping of cauda equina. thank you?

The cauda equina component probably just reflects reactive arthritis involving the lowest part of the spine, i.e. the sacroiliac area. Probably this is not a separate problem, but just part of your ReA problem. Work with your doctor(s); conclusive answers aren't possible on a forum like this.
