Yes, it will heal and the pain will go away for the most part. Please have her see an adult orthopaedic surgeon to confirm the diagnosis and address treatment for osteoporosis. You will have to treat her symptomatically till then.

Typically it will heal. Sometimes depending on the severity of the fracture, or if nerves nearby are being compressed, then treatment may be recommended. Most often, the compression fracture will heal, and pain resolve. But continued pain or nerve symptoms would warrant additional evaluation.
