According to recent British report, Pfizer vaccine was close to 95% effective against developing serious (requiring inpatient care) Covid-19 infection by delta variant. Elderly people over 65 and individuals with underlying diseases and conditions are again at higher risk to develop serious infection by the variant. Debates over booster dose (3rd shot) for high-risk group is ongoing.

There is still a lot to be learned about the delta variant. If you have a healthy immune system I would expect you to develop antibodies to the variant, but in reading the literature,I'm not having any success validating this opinion. I'd like to hear other physicians' opinions or knowledge regarding your question.
