I have enlarged ovaries and predominant follicles on both ovaries possibly measuring 20 or more. got a blood test to check for pcos and hormone levels are good. i got checked for thyroid and those test were good as well. any clue?

"PCOS" involves a constant production of estrogen, which can cause irregular periods due to cessation of regular ovulation. This constant estrogen production can stimulate ovarian cysts, and cause occasional heavy bleeding, with intervals of absent menstruation. The treatment is usually low dose BCP's, which stop the ovarian estrogen, and preserve options for later fertility.

Have polycystic ovaries but get periods, am thin, no sugar issues or thyroid. Last time i checked blood before ovulation hormones were fine.
