Hydration is very important. More often people do not drink enough. The goal is 80-100 ounces of water a day, and 8 ounces is 1 cup. Up to 120 ounces if exercising. If drinking significantly more than this, serum sodium level can drop and this interfere with heart functioning. Zgwt a water bottle that helps you keep track of how much you are drinking to guide your consumption:) Be Well!

Drinking too little water (or other healthy fluid refreshments) may lead to symptoms or disease. Likewise with drinking too much water. "Everything in moderation", as the saying goes. Life is about balance. Whether or not a person drinks before, during, or after urination is of no importance, except that bathrooms tend to be coated with invisible bacteria. Better not to ingest bathroom bacteria.
