Vesicoureteral reflux can be diagnosed by a cystogram in which a catheter is placed through the urethra to the bladder and bladder is filled with fluid and doctor can see reverse flow of fluid from bladder to ureter, condition called vesicoureteral reflux. Hope it helps.
