Hi i have diabetes type one and have started getting pains from my rib cage to my belly button, am shivering and have just started to get upset stomach?

See doctor: I think you need to be seen for further evaluation. Shivering is usually a sign of fever, which is usually a sign of infection. You need further evaluation to make sure you don't have appendicitis or something else, such as pancreatitis or a kidney or bladder infection, especially since you're diabetic and, thus, more prone to infection.
