I assume you're not pregnant. Migraine can occur in the early morning. It would be a throbbing headache & nausea is common. Muscle contraction tension headache may occur on awakening from certain posture during sleeping or even from teeth grinding during sleep. Nausea can accompany these headaches. Partial insomnia is another possibility. A neurologist could evaluate and advise you.

Without knowing the type of abdominal surgery and type/exact location/impact of the tumor, those and/or new medicines are very likely to be affecting your condition. However, in general morning headaches raise suspicion of sleep apnea. Nausea/lack of appetite after sleep can be a sign of acid reflux. Your symptoms may or may not be related - would recommend you see your doctor for full evaluation.
