Total hysterectomy with ovaries intact (2018). pms worsening with age. it feels like ive been in pms for a month straight. migraines/nausea/heavy sore breasts/mild cramps/acne/fatigue. why have i been pmsing for a month straight?

(I used to practice in Cupertino.) As long as ovaries remain, cycles without menstruation will continue. I have no explanation for prolonged duration of "PMS" but understand why a gynecologist would preserve ovarian function at age 31. I would advise discussion of your hysterectomy with the surgeon--many facts are unavailable to me
