A member asked:

I have a lymph node that's shrunk from 2cm to 13x13mm. i keep reading that round nodes are more likely malignant, is this true? also do cancerous nodes shrink?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cancerous nodes do not shrink. Round or oval has nothing to do with malignancy. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
