This is best answered by her regular doc who knows the specifics of her case. Having had a seizure is not an automatic disqualification from pursuing life. I certainly would not want her alone/swimming/driving or riding a bicycle until you had a clear picture of the issue. More info like a description of the seizure/duration/associated features might help some. Ask her doc.

If these "seizures" are true epileptic events, she should be placed on anti-epileptic medications. A visit to a pediatric neurologist is indeed in order. She cannot drive, operate power equipment, do activities at heights, swim or take a bath alone. Get this addressed ASAP, so, she can resume normal activities.

Since she has had two seizures, a visiting with your pediatrician is recommended. Travel in remote areas, immersion in water is not advised.

Please discuss with her pediatrician. They may make a call to the specialist to get an earlier appointment.Meanwhile, please follow the precautions in the answers by the other physicians. Also, in Canada, procedures can take longer to schedule. Hopefully she will not have another seizure prior to her EEG appointment; however, if she does, go to the ER; they may be able to do the EEG sooner.
