I take a few medications can it cause throat problems like burning, thin veil of transparent mucus or redness or could it be something else. there is no coughing or hoarseness but mucus in throat makes it burn. tyvm for your time?

Depending on what medications you are taking, the meds can cause your symptoms. In general, be sure to take your medicines with plenty of liquid so the pills don’t sit at the back of your throat. Esophageal reflux (or GERD) is also a common cause of your symptoms so, if the symptoms persist, see your doctor. You may need to see a GI doctor for diagnosis and treatment. Best of luck to you!
