My 7 years old son received 9 stitches 10 days ago on his temple. yesterday he developed a 1 cm bump adjacent to the stitches, which is completely depressible and soft, not red, and no fluid is leaking, what could it be?

My first thought would be a collection of fluid at the location. That could be serum or pus. It is worth having the doc who stitched him up check the finding.
