Hi doc, i tested positive for covid19, my housemates went to get pcr test right after my result, and their result is negative. can it false since they just exposure to me and should they swab again later?

If you had just returned to the house setting then yes, they should re test in 10-14 days or if symptomatic. However, if you have all been living exposed to each other, then they are already exposed and need not test again unless symptomatic or required by college/workplace. The individual who tested positive should quarantine now.

Your housemates tested too soon. If they are vaccinated, there is no need to test. Testing would not be useful as there is no specific treatment. They should practice preventive measures and get tested if they become symptomatic.
