Chilled compresses will reduce nerve impulses that feed the pain signals to the brain. Other simple OTC pain medications are safe at that stage of pregnancy.

Apply triple antibiotic cream to the raw area. keep the injured area elevated. You may take acetaminophen for the pain. If you get fever, the injured area swells up or develops a discharge or pain increases, it would be prudent to see a doctor/ER. Wish you good health and a healthy baby!
