Floaters like yours are usually harmless and are more noticeable when looking at brightness . Also when sleeping they may settle down at the bottom of the eye. Nevertheless, you should have regular eye checkups by an ophthalmologist.

Chronic floaters if not associated with photopsias (flashing lights) or visual field (peripheral) changes, are unlikely to be dangerous (related to retinal tears or detachments). If it's just a minor annoyance, the best option is to just live with it. If the symptoms get worse, see your ophthalmologist immediately.
