After my eyes were dilated using dilation drops, i got my eye pressure taken using a tonometer. will it harm my eye? will the air blown in damage my pupil? can it cause eye diseases or an increase in eye pressure for a sustained amount of time?

dilating the pupil is part of a usual eye exam allowing the ophthalmologist to throughly exam your retina. This process will NOT damage your eye and neither will blowing air on your eye, which checks for glaucoma , do any damage to your eye.
