This is nothing to worry about. Neither syphilis or any other STD is transmitted by shared clothing, regardless of wetness, laundering, etc. You'll never get syphilis or any other STD unless you have sex with an infected partner.

Syphilis transmission is not possible in above mentioned scenario as direct contact will be needed for transmission to occur.
