Benzoyl Peroxide is not Hydrogen Peroxide, an agent used to bleach hair. Peroxide is just the name of chemicals with a hydrogen & oxygen molecule added. BP is primarily a skin drying agent that may help your folliculitis/or not. Just monitor its effectiveness and follow-up with your doc.
