If by increased range of motion you mean you are able to move the area where the fractured bone is without pain, then that is a good sign. But, the only way to see if the bone is truly healing is by x-ray. There are signs to look for on x-ray that indicates that the bone is healing. So, follow up with your doctor for exam and x-rays.
