Fibula fracture: This is a question for an orthopedic surgeon. Since the fibula is a nonweight bearing bone, patients are often allowed to walk on the affected leg with a cast in place. I assume you or the affected patient has been referred to an orthopedic surgeon for treatment and follow-up.
