Visit this site for advice about nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Start exercising to improve your strength, do what you can tolerate. Trying to gain weight is not a good idea unless your BMI is below 18. https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm. If you cannot walk, please see your doctor right away. Many people are very fatigued in the early days of a new baby, but they should be able to walk around. Your doctor may also recommend a dietitian or a nutrition consultation to discuss a diet with adequate protein, calcium, vitamins and minerals, and calories. Note the importance of nutrients first. Best wishes.
