Visit this site for advice about nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Start exercising to improve your strength, do what you can tolerate. Trying to gain weight is not a good idea unless your BMI is below 18. https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm. You will gain weight soon and then miss this time when you could eat and not get fat. Wish you good health!

If you cannot walk, please see your doctor right away. Many people are very fatigued in the early days of a new baby, but they should be able to walk around. Your doctor may also recommend a dietitian or a nutrition consultation to discuss a diet with adequate protein, calcium, vitamins and minerals, and calories. Note the importance of nutrients first. Best wishes.
