IUD ?'s: An IUD with "hormone" instilled (progesterone) will not recreate normal cycles. If pregnancy is possible, and prior to seeking an IUD placement, make sure you are not pregnant by getting a serum HCG test. If negative, continue with the IUD placement. Your cycle may start after discontinuing breast feeding.
