There is mild enlargement of a few mediastinal lymph nodes. prevascular and paratracheal lymph nodes measure up to 1.5 cm ,mildly prominent mediastinal lymph nodes of uncertain etiology . my chest ct scan results. i dont understand what it means?

Depending on one's presenting symptoms, there are usually good reasons why the Doctor ordered the Chest CT Scan. The attending Physician is therefore in the best position to give one the interpretation of the report.

A screening physical examination of all major lymph nodes may be performed by your PCP. An ESR and Complete blood count analysis is recommended.. Screening biomarkers for cancer may be sent if there have been other concerning symptoms. Please avoid smoke exposure and follow up with your PCP.
