My 3 yo son swallowed laptop trackpoint cap (mouse point nipple) of size 8*8mm which comes with lenovo laptop. will it come out in his stool or is it a concern and i have to get him checked with pediatrician.how long does it take to come out in stool?

Watch for respiratory symptoms, vomiting and distress. Otherwise it most likely will not affect his breathing. The cap if not corrosive or similar to a battery will probably not cause difficulty. If similar to a battery, please proceed to the Emergency room, since this may cause tissue damage. Do not try to induce gagging or vomiting, and monitor closely. Keep all small items out of reach.

The small red rubber TrackPoint cap should pass through the gastrointestinal tract without difficulty, probably not more than 2-3 days. If he has ongoing coughing, he should be seen by the pediatrician right away.
