Does plan b work after ovulation?? from research most sources say it prevents ovulation but what if youve already ovulated?

Plan B is an emergency contraceptive that contains high levels of hormones which, taken after unprotected sex, prevents ovulation and also prevent fertilized embryo's from implanting in your uterus. The high hormone levels disrupt your menstrual cycle and can cause irregular bleeding. This can be as little as spotting or discharge or as much as a full period.
