My ears are always red and hot. there is no pain at all, just very hot! it's the lobe as well as behind the ears on my scalp.this has gone on for 6 months now and my dr can't figure out why. it's not hormonal or environmental so what else could it be?

Are your ears pierced. Could be allergy to metal in earrings. Discuss with Dr again.
