Go back to doctor: Yes you should go back to your doctor. If the antibiotic you are taking was working for the supposed kidney infection then you should not have additional pain. Pain in lower abdomen above pubic area is a common symptom of bladder infection, so it is possible that you are just on an antibiotic that is not working for the particular type of bacteria you have and now you are getting bladder symptoms
