is it safe to take fish oil, ie cod liver oil, omega 3 if you have had breast cancer?

These are generally : To enhance the "good" lipids in your body. Breast cancer patients may be advised to avoid substances that may contain estrogens. No correlation here, ok to use.

Tell the Surgeon: Be sure to tell your surgeon about these. These supplements increase your chances of bleeding and can increase the complication rate with biopsies and with surgery.
