If child has diarrhea more then a week you should go to your pediatrician. Child could have bacterial infection and could be dehydrated from diarrhea. Don’t use any medicine without doctor’s permission.

The baby should be evaluated by the pediatrician for the cause of his symptoms and most appropriate treatment. With diarrhea and vomiting there is risk of dehydration at any age but especially in young babies.
